The incident happened around 3 a.m. on November 7 on Kozhomberdieva Street, near the "Bakay" factory. An unknown driver hit the traffic light and left the scene without stopping.
At the site of the collision, damage to the traffic light and traces of the impact were found. A "Hyundai" car was also nearby, which showed visible signs of the accident.
This car was placed in a towing lot until all circumstances of the incident are established. Law enforcement agencies are currently searching for the driver who fled the scene of the accident, the police reported.
Local residents also noted that this section of the road often becomes a place where speed limits are violated.
