According to preliminary data, the fire broke out around 15:40 in apartment number 24 of building number 25 on Seriy Street. The area of the fire was 15 square meters. As a result of the fire, the neighboring apartment number 22 was also partially damaged, where the fire affected an area of 3 square meters.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
Damage assessment:
- In apartment number 24, the following were burned: refrigerator, microwave, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, kitchen set, electric stove, 12 sq. m of stretch ceiling, 9 sq. m of plastic windows, wooden door, 8 meters of electrical wiring, and old unnecessary items.
- In apartment number 22, the following were damaged: 1.5 sq. m of plastic window, door, 4 meters of electrical wiring, and old unnecessary items.
The fire was likely caused by a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
Two fire crews from unit number 94 were dispatched to combat the fire.
