According to firefighters, a signal about the fire in the Kandybay forest, located near the village of Kara-Suu, was received on October 28. Two fire trucks, 20 emergency service employees, 30 local residents, and 10 forestry workers were involved in extinguishing the fire.
During the operation, a second team was dispatched to the site, arriving at 12:56.
The firefighting efforts were completed at 15:21, when the fire was fully extinguished. The area affected by the fire amounted to 3 hectares.
The causes of its occurrence are currently being investigated.
