According to the department, as a result of operational-search activities conducted by the police of the city of Karakol, a suspect identified as citizen M. E., born in 1991 and a native of the city of Karakol, was identified and detained in connection with 29 theft cases.
On August 6, a resident of the city of Karakol, K. G., born in 1986, filed a complaint with the police. In his statement, he reported that on July 18, unknown individuals stole 2 mobile phones of the model "Redmi Note 14" and 1 phone of the model "Note 14 Pro" along with their boxes from the shelf of a mobile phone store in the city of Karakol.
This incident was registered in the Unified Register of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Karakol, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Theft).
During the investigation, the suspect was detained and fully confessed to his guilt during the preliminary interrogation. It was additionally established that he had committed another 29 thefts in the same store.
Investigative actions have been completed, and the materials of the criminal case have been sent to court for consideration.
