On September 9, during a preventive operation called "Teenager," a check was conducted at the "Antikino" cinema located in Karakol, according to local police data.
During the inspection of one of the booths, a drug was found with a 17-year-old resident of Karakol, M.M. At the time of seizure, the weight of the substance was 154 grams, after which it was sent for forensic chemical examination.
The examination confirmed that the seized substance is a concentrate of cannabis straw (marijuana) with a net weight of 74 grams.
Investigative actions revealed that on September 8, M.M. collected wild-growing hemp at the foot of a mountain in the village of Tash-Kiya, located in the upper part of Karakol. The next day, on September 9, around 10:00 PM, he brought the collected hemp to "Antikino" to use it in the company of 17-year-old N.Ch.
In connection with this fact, a case was registered in the Unified Register of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Karakol, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 283 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs without the purpose of sale").
Currently, the investigative actions have been completed, and the materials of the criminal case have been submitted to the court for further consideration.
