As part of a criminal case aimed at curbing the channels of drug transportation and distribution, a KIA K5 vehicle was stopped at a checkpoint in the village of Sosnovka, driven by 30-year-old R.I.A. During the inspection of the vehicle, officers discovered several packages containing a plant substance.
According to the results of a forensic chemical examination, the seized substance turned out to be hashish. Although the exact weight of the drugs was not specified, the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that the batch is significant.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production and circulation of narcotic substances. The suspect has been placed in pre-trial detention center No. 21 in Bishkek.
