According to information provided by the Drug Control Service, during a special operation at a checkpoint in the village of Sosnovka, a KIA K5 vehicle was stopped, driven by a citizen identified as R.I.A., born in 1994.
As a result of inspecting the vehicle, packages containing a plant substance were found in the cabin. An examination revealed that this substance is a narcotic — cannabis (hashish).
The investigation is ongoing within the framework of the criminal case initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code, concerning "illegal production, acquisition, storage, transportation, mailing, or sale of drugs."
The suspect R.I.A. was detained and placed in the Bishkek detention center (institution No. 21 of the State Penitentiary Service).
