As a result of the investigation into the criminal case, the route for the supply and distribution of drugs was shut down. At a checkpoint in the village of Sosnovka, officers stopped a KIA K5 vehicle, driven by 30-year-old R.I.A. During the inspection of the car, several packages containing a plant substance were found in the cabin.
According to the results of the forensic chemical examination, the substance found is hashish. Although the exact weight of the seized drug was not specified, the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that the batch was significant.
In this regard, a criminal case has been opened under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning illegal drug trafficking. The suspect has been placed in pre-trial detention center No. 21 in Bishkek.
The investigation is ongoing.
