The message stated that there are regular cases of extortion and intimidation of students at the secondary school in the village of Kyzyl-Tuu. It was mentioned that some high school students demand money from younger students, threatening physical and psychological violence in case of refusal.
The fact of extortion has been officially registered, and an investigation has begun.
During the investigation, statements were received at the Department of Internal Affairs of the Sokuluk District from local residents — S.Zh., K.G., and A.Zh., all born in 1988. These statements were registered in accordance with the law.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 208 ("Extortion") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational-search activities, it was revealed that the organizer of the criminal actions is B.A., born in 2007, who previously studied at the same school and is currently a student at one of the higher educational institutions. The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
