- At a press conference held at the National Statistical Committee, the results of agricultural production for 2025 were announced.

According to the data from the statistical agency, Chui Region once again confirmed its leadership in milk production, accounting for 26.3% of the total volume. The next regions by this indicator were Jalal-Abad Region with 20.7% and Osh Region, which made up 19%. The average milk yield per cow in the country in 2025 was 2114 kg, while in Chui Region it reached an impressive 3203 kg. In Talas Region, the average yield was 2352 kg, and in Issyk-Kul Region — 2164 kg. The highest figure was recorded in Bishkek — 3338 kg per cow.

The results observed in the capital can be explained by the implementation of the administrative-territorial reform (ATR), as a result of which six rural municipalities from the Alamudun District and two from the Sokuluk District were annexed to Bishkek. In these new territories, which are now part of the city, high productivity is observed.

As for egg production, Chui Region holds a dominant position, accounting for 63.5% of the total volume. Osh Region ranks second with 9.5%, while Jalal-Abad Region is third with 8.9%. The share of Issyk-Kul Region is 4.3%, and in the other regions, this figure does not exceed 3%.

On average across the country, each laying hen produced 201 eggs. Chui Region again demonstrates high figures, with 239 eggs per hen, while in Bishkek this figure was 226 pieces per year.

In the total volume of livestock and poultry production for slaughter (live weight), more than 21.7% comes from farms in Chui Region, while the share of Osh Region is 19.48%, and Jalal-Abad Region — 16%.
