A large ethno-village will be created in the central square of the city. The following events are planned as part of the celebration:
- an exhibition of yurts with seven thematic yurts that will be set up in the square.
- contests and competitions to determine the best yurt decoration, culinary skills, and craftsmanship of folk arts.
A total of 700,000 soms has been allocated as cash prizes for the winners of the contests.
Special attention will be given to the preparation of sümölök, a traditional festive dish, and separate prizes are provided for the participants of the competition.
Guests can expect a rich cultural program: theatrical performances, sports competitions in national sports, and daytime concerts featuring popular artists from Kyrgyzstan.
The celebration will conclude with an evening gala concert and fireworks.
In 2025, President Sadyr Japarov participated in the celebration of Nowruz in the city of Osh.
