According to preliminary information, the incident happened on the night of March 17 to 18, 2026, around 01:00, on the 347th kilometer of the Bishkek—Osh highway, where a "Honda Fit" and a "Hyundai Sonata" collided.
The "Hyundai Sonata" was heading towards the capital, while the "Fit" was heading to the city of Osh. The collision occurred at a dangerous turn. Inside the "Honda" were two couples from Kara-Kul.
As a result of the accident, two people — a man and a woman — died, and four others were injured.
Currently, additional circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
