In 2025, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China set a record, amounting to 27.2 billion US dollars, which is an impressive increase of 20%. This was reported by Liu Jianping, the Chinese ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, at a briefing following the sessions of the National People's Congress of China and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
“Last year, the total trade volume between China and Central Asia exceeded 100 billion US dollars. Of this volume, more than a quarter comes from Kyrgyzstan. This is a significant achievement that confirms a new historical level of economic relations between our countries,” the ambassador noted.
