At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan, the Speaker of the Parliament Marlen Mamataliyev announced the implementation of an updated procedure for forming delegations for deputies' business trips.
Previously, only 5-6 of the closest assistants would accompany the Speaker on trips abroad. Now, according to the new rules, the composition of the delegation will be determined by parliamentary groups based on their specialization and tasks.
“Each group decides for itself who will go: economists to economic events, ecologists to environmental events, lawyers to legal events. This is a new principle of our parliament's work aimed at achieving fairness, transparency, and openness,” emphasized Mamataliyev.
These changes are aimed at increasing professionalism and efficiency in business trips, eliminating the previous practice of forming delegations based on proximity to the Speaker.
