During a raid conducted by employees of the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan at the checkpoint "Chon-Kapka," a case of illegal importation of tobacco products without excise stamps was identified.

During the inspection, a vehicle was stopped, and in its cargo compartment, 950 cartons (a total of 9,500 packs) of "Oris" brand cigarettes were found, also without accompanying documents and excise stamps.

The seized goods and materials related to this case have been transferred to law enforcement agencies for further legal assessment and necessary measures in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is worth noting that the sale and transportation of tobacco and alcoholic products without excise stamps are serious violations of tax legislation. The entire country continues efforts to identify the illegal turnover of excise goods.
