The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported the suppression of illegal activities related to the organization of an underground gambling establishment in the village of Jarkyshtak in the Aravan district. The participants in this business were the deputy of the Dobokorgon rural council "H.Sh." and his trusted person "S.Sh.". They did not obtain the necessary license and did not pay taxes to the budget.
During a search conducted at the address of the alleged casino, 11 computers used to access various online casinos were found, as well as 400,000 soms and other items related to gambling.
The collected evidence became the basis for bringing charges against "H.Sh." and "S.Sh." under part 1 of Article 219 ("Illegal organization of gambling activities") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. On March 19, 2026, the Osh City Court ruled to place the suspects in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
