Based on the decree of President Sadyr Japarov, the implementation of a project aimed at the development of the world of Manas, which is the foundation of national ideology and the spiritual wealth of the people, as well as the enhancement of the status of aitys, dastans, and small Kyrgyz epics, has begun. This was reported by Nurbek Talantbekov, the director of the National Theater "Manas," in an interview with the "Kabar" agency.

According to Talantbekov, the construction of the new center is taking place on a 2-hectare plot that previously belonged to the village of Manas but is now under the balance of the Kyrgyz National Theater "Manas."
He added that the project includes the creation of a multifunctional complex consisting of three floors:
- On the first level, there will be a modern banquet hall for 500 guests, a kitchen, and service rooms, fully equipped for the work of technical staff;
- The second floor will house a large concert hall for 1,300 seats and specialized rooms for training creative specialists;
- The third floor will feature an exhibition museum dedicated to the great epic, ensuring the effective functioning of the center.
“This center will address all issues related to Manas. Currently, there is no control over the publication of books and the creation of illustrations related to Manas. The new center will take on this control and support the best initiatives in the field of manas studies, ensuring their implementation. We are starting an important project that will become a key element of spirituality,” emphasized Talantbekov.
The opening of the "Manas" center is expected to take place on December 4, 2026, coinciding with the Day of the Epic "Manas."
