According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Osh, the alleged criminals were detained as part of an investigation initiated after a 24-year-old student reported the incident.
The victim, residing on N. Isanova Street, reported that on March 19, 2026, around 02:00, he became a victim of an attack near the "Yenisei" store. Two unknown individuals used force and took his smartphone, an "iPhone 15".
As a result of operational search activities conducted by criminal investigation officers, the suspects were identified and detained. They are residents of the city of Aydarken, located in the Batken region:
- T. uulu E., born in 2004 (he already had a criminal record for a similar crime);
- A. A., born in 2007.
During the investigation, it became known that the detainees may be involved in numerous crimes committed in the Southeast microdistrict, particularly in the area of Kurmanjan-datka Street. According to preliminary data, the number of robberies they are involved in exceeds ten, with victims including both local residents and foreign students.
Currently, both young men are in a temporary detention facility.
