As reported, on January 3, a local resident, G.M., born in 1993, came to the duty station of the Toktogul District Internal Affairs Department. In her statement, she said that her brother, M.M., born in 1991, pulled her out of the house and used violence against her for no apparent reason. The woman requested that measures be taken in accordance with the law.
The fact of the incident was recorded in the Unified Register of Crimes of the Toktogul District Internal Affairs Department, and an investigation was launched.
During the investigation, a forensic medical examination was appointed, which confirmed the presence of minor bodily injuries on the victim. However, she disagreed with the experts' conclusions and filed a petition for a commission and a more in-depth comprehensive examination.
A comprehensive forensic medical examination has now been appointed, and the results have not yet been received. The documents have been sent to the Center for Forensic Medical Examinations of Kyrgyzstan. A legal assessment will be provided based on the results of the examination, and investigative actions are ongoing, as reported by the department.
