On March 25, the official opening of the nominations "Visual Arts" and "Folk Instruments" took place at the A. Osmonov National Library in Bishkek. The event was part of the first Youth Delphic Games organized for the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. This was reported by the city administration.
The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, and the co-chairman of the International Delphic Committee, Dyusen Kaseinov.
In his address, the mayor wished the participants inspiration, confidence, vibrant performances, and success, and also called on the jury members to be objective and fair in their evaluations.
"Participating in the first Youth Delphic Games of the SCO member states already makes you winners," noted Junushaliev.
In the "Folk Instruments" nomination, 53 performers are participating. This category requires a high level of technical skill, the ability to feel the rhythm, musical ear, and confidence on stage. Each performance reflects traditions, immediate energy, and special interaction with the audience.
As for the "Visual Arts" nomination, it includes 47 young artists. This form of art requires prolonged and focused work, and the results do not appear immediately.
The city administration emphasized that both nominations have their unique complexity and significance: one reveals its content through a moment of sound, while the other through a lengthy creative process. They are united by sincerity in creativity and deep respect for cultural heritage.
