A check conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of the Issyk-Kul region revealed violations in the area of compliance with the Land and Forest Codes of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the law "On Environmental Protection." The inspection covered the Toru-Aygyr-Tamchyin rural administration and the Issyk-Kul Forestry, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The results of the inspection showed that compensations for damage caused to forest resources and agricultural production, as well as for lost profits, were not made in a timely manner, as reported by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.
To rectify the identified violations, the district prosecutor's office initiated a prosecutorial act, as a result of which 17,401,200 soms were recovered from the state budget.
