Residents of Bishkek are invited to get acquainted with the "Fantastic World of Mikhail Bulgakov"

The exhibition titled "The Fantastic World of Mikhail Bulgakov" will open on March 27 at the Ch. Aitmatov State National Russian Drama Theater, as reported by the institution's press service.

This event is dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the birth of the famous writer M.A. Bulgakov and the 60th anniversary of the first publication of his renowned novel "The Master and Margarita".

At the exhibition, visitors will be able to explore interesting aspects of Bulgakov's biography, as well as see archival photographs, documents, various editions of his works, theatrical posters, and film posters based on his writings. Separate stands will be devoted to the humor in his works, the connection of his writings with elements of fantasy, and the parallels between "The Master and Margarita" and Chyngyz Aitmatov's "The Plough".

The exhibition has been prepared by Russian historian and educator Anna Esparsa, who will conduct a theatrical tour and organize a prize draw for fans of Bulgakov's work. The exhibition is available in Kyrgyz and Russian languages, and entry is free.

After the exhibition concludes, at 18:00, a performance of "The Master and Margarita" will take place at the Russian Drama Theater. Tickets can be purchased at the theater box office and on the Ticket.kg website:
