Turmush reports that the accident took place on the night of March 24 to 25, around 11:50 PM, on J. Abdrakhmanov Street. The driver of a Honda Fit ran over the pedestrians — 38-year-old S.M.S. and 9-year-old A.A.S.
After the accident, the victims were urgently transported to the Issyk-Kul Regional Hospital.
According to the medical facility's administration, the condition of the 38-year-old woman is assessed as extremely serious. She underwent emergency surgery and is currently in intensive care. Doctors diagnosed her with a rupture of the right lobe of the liver, a closed traumatic brain injury (TBI), and a concussion, as well as multiple fractures of her right arm and right leg.
As for the 9-year-old girl, her condition is stable. She is under the supervision of doctors in the trauma department, where she was also diagnosed with a closed traumatic brain injury and a concussion, as well as a fracture of her right leg.
The medical staff continues to provide the necessary assistance to stabilize the health of the victims.
