According to information from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan, in response to numerous appeals from citizens, a temporary ban has been introduced in Bishkek on the installation of lightweight structures in areas adjacent to apartment buildings.

The main goal of this decision is to protect the architectural appearance of the city, as well as to ensure the accessibility of green spaces and sidewalks for local residents. In connection with the introduction of this ban, the installation of kiosks, pavilions, canopies, metal tents, garages, and similar temporary structures is temporarily prohibited on residential plots, with the exception of water vending machines.

Additionally, the issuance of permits for the installation and placement of such objects, as well as the extension of previously issued documents, has been suspended. These restrictions will remain in effect until a corresponding regulatory act governing this issue is adopted.

The Department of State Architectural and Construction Control will conduct regular monitoring of compliance with the established requirements. In case of violations, measures will be taken in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
