In the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH), the active implementation of advanced diagnostic technologies continues. Recently, another endoscopic ultrasound examination (EUS) was conducted with the participation of Bakytbek Kadyraliev, the Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, according to information from the Ministry of Health.

EUS is a highly informative diagnostic method that combines endoscopy and ultrasound techniques. This approach allows for a thorough analysis of the condition of the walls of the gastrointestinal tract and surrounding tissues, as well as the early detection of neoplasms, which is critical for diagnosing oncological diseases.

During the examination of a 53-year-old patient, a submucosal formation was discovered in the lower part of the esophagus. The results of the EUS confirmed that this formation is cystic and benign, posing no danger to health. Oncological pathology was excluded.

The patient has been recommended for observation with dynamic monitoring. If necessary, minimally invasive endoscopic removal without surgical incisions may be possible in the future.

The record of the endoscopic ultrasound examination at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health first appeared in K-News.
