The FOMS named the categories of citizens entitled to preferential medical services

At a meeting of the committee on labor, health care, women's affairs, and social issues, Deputy Sovetbek Rustambek uulu asked the head of the FOMS to announce the categories of citizens who can benefit from preferential medical services.

In response, Azamat Mukhanov, the director of the FOMS, stated that this group includes working citizens, pensioners, children, individuals receiving benefits, full-time students, military personnel, and unemployed individuals registered in the official registry.

“Farmers were also previously included in this list; however, starting from July 1, 2025, they will lose this right. The cost of the insurance policy is 1840 soms per year, and they can purchase it,” he added.

The deputy also inquired whether citizens have the right to free testing at clinics in their place of residence.

Mukhanov responded that registered residents can take 12 different tests for free. Additionally, holders of insurance policies can undergo about 40 biochemical tests without payment.
