In Kyrgyzstan, the creation of a network of dental offices located in schools is planned. This was announced by Gulmayram Ibraimova, the chief freelance dentist of the Ministry of Health.

According to her information, in February 2025, an interdepartmental agreement was signed between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education aimed at jointly conducting activities to prevent dental diseases in children.

This program will cover both kindergartens and schools, with a focus on developing preventive dental care for children.

According to Ibraimova, the offices will focus on prevention, teaching children, their parents, and educators the basics of oral hygiene, proper nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, these offices will serve nearby educational institutions according to a set schedule.

She noted that forming healthy eating habits in children is a task that concerns not only dentists but also parents.

The specialist emphasized the importance of collaboration among dentists, the educational system, and parents for effective prevention of dental diseases.

There is also a possibility of conducting outreach preventive examinations with the participation of clinical residents and graduate students with the support of the Ministry of Education.
