The "Help the Children – SKD" Foundation was one of the participants in the national conference held on February 18, dedicated to the development of oncological care for children in Kyrgyzstan.

Among the participants were the Deputy Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakytbek Kadyraliev, World Health Organization representative Alina Altymysheva, Director of the National Center for Oncology and Hematology Shaiyrbek Suimanov, the country's chief pediatric oncologist Sultan Stambekov, as well as international partners and charitable organizations.

The conference, timed to coincide with International Children's Day with Cancer, aimed to raise public awareness. During the event, the achievements of pediatric oncologists over the past years were presented, long-term goals were outlined, and useful recommendations on pediatric cancer were voiced.

This event became an important platform for coordinating the efforts of government structures, the medical community, charitable organizations, and the business sector to improve the accessibility, quality, and effectiveness of specialized care for children suffering from oncological diseases.

The "Help the Children – SKD" Foundation contributed to the event by providing materials such as brochures and posters with recommendations for parents and doctors on oncological and hematological vigilance in two languages.
