In 2025, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted an extensive inspection of the private medical sector in various regions of the country. This was reported by Aman Osmonov, head of the licensing department, in an interview with the program "Elden Sobol" of the agency "Kabar".

During the inspection, 561 medical institutions were examined, including private clinics, rehabilitation centers, dental offices, and practices of traditional healers. The results of the inspection showed that 263 of these entities operated without the necessary licenses, and as a result, they were closed.
Aman Osmonov added: "More than half of the closed institutions ceased their activities, and over 21 million soms were collected in fines for the budget."
