In Karakol, plans are underway to build a high-tech medical cluster with the involvement of foreign doctors.

Karako is aimed at establishing an international medical center and medical tourism focused on the CIS countries. As part of this initiative, the construction of a medical cluster worth 150 million dollars is planned. This information was announced during the working trip of Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev to the Issyk-Kul region.

During the visit, a project was presented according to which an international medical cluster will be built in Karako. It is expected that this institution will become a key center for advanced medical technologies and medical tourism for the CIS countries and neighboring territories.

The project includes the implementation of modern diagnostic and treatment technologies, the creation of specialized oncology and cardiology centers, as well as attracting leading foreign doctors and developing a medical education system to train qualified specialists, as stated in the official announcement.

The total cost of implementing this project will amount to 150 million dollars. The new medical cluster will have 510 beds and will create about 750 jobs.
