
On the air of Birinchi Radio, the head of the state pharmacy network "El Aman," Rysbek Akynbekov, reported that since its opening, the pharmacies have sold medicinal products totaling 1 billion 671 million 459 thousand soms.
He also noted that out of this amount, 185 million 947 thousand soms were paid in taxes to the state budget.
Currently, there are 72 "El Aman" pharmacies operating in Kyrgyzstan, of which 16 are located in Bishkek, 9 in the Chui region, 5 in Issyk-Kul, 6 in Talas, 3 in Naryn, 5 in Batken, 15 in Jalal-Abad, and 13 in Osh region, including 3 in the city of Osh itself. Akynbekov emphasized that new branches are planned to be opened this year, as well as cooperation with 45 pharmaceutical distributors. Prices for medications in these pharmacies are 10-15% lower compared to private institutions.
It is worth noting that the "El Aman" network was established two years ago with the aim of ensuring the availability of medicines for the population.
