
A passenger plane crashed in Colombia, with 15 people on board. Unfortunately, all passengers and crew members died, reports the Xinhua news agency.
According to the RTVC Noticias channel, the wreckage of the Beechcraft 1900 plane, owned by the state airline Satena, was found by local residents in collaboration with national police officers in the northeastern region of Norte de Santander.
According to the airline, the plane was operating a domestic flight numbered NSE 8849, traveling from Cúcuta to Ocaña. The last communication with air traffic controllers was established at 11:54 local time, just 12 minutes after takeoff, which occurred at 11:42. There were 13 passengers and 2 crew members on board.
Colombian civil aviation reported the activation of emergency protocols and the establishment of a joint command center to coordinate actions and gather information regarding the causes of the aviation disaster.
