China is actively developing the production of humanoid robots, as reported by the Kazinform agency, citing data from Xinhua. In 2025, Unitree Robotics recorded a significant increase in sales of such robots, indicating a growing interest in this technology.
Experts believe that the market for humanoid robots in China is demonstrating impressive growth, more than doubling compared to the previous year. Specialists emphasize that modern robot demonstrations are no longer limited to exhibition events and are beginning to bring real commercial value.

“Demonstrations show the genuine development of technologies in the field of robotics and can create certain commercial advantages,” noted Wang Xinxin, founder of Unitree Robotics.

The year 2025 is considered a landmark for the industry, as it will mark the start of mass production of humanoid robots. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, there are currently hundreds of different models of such devices operating in the country, which are gradually transitioning from demonstration use to real activities in production processes.

Zhang Yunmin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC, noted that artificial intelligence plays an important role in accelerating the development of this sector. The government also plans to expand the application of humanoid robots both in the manufacturing sector and in services.

In the long term, China aims to achieve mass production of humanoid robots by 2027, and by 2035 expects the volume of this sector to exceed 1 trillion yuan.
