YouTube has decided to remove low-quality content created using artificial intelligence technologies.
According to The Verge, several popular channels have been removed from the platform, including CuentosFacianantes with 5.9 million subscribers and 1.2 billion views, as well as Imperio de Jesus, which has over 5.8 million subscribers.
YouTube CEO Neal Mohan previously stated plans to combat the spread of such content by applying existing methods against spam and clickbait.
In 2025, YouTube had already removed channels that published fake movie trailers created by artificial intelligence. Now the platform continues its policy of eliminating misleading and low-quality content.
