During the visit, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers was presented with the key areas of the institute's work, ongoing scientific projects, and the contributions of researchers to the study of the country's mineral resource potential, as well as the development of geological sciences.



Kasymaliev also inspected the institute's library and museum exhibits, including dinosaur remains found in the republic, as well as checked the working premises and laboratories.




During the visit, it became known that the Institute conducts fundamental and applied scientific research in areas such as regional geology, mineral resources, physical geography, geoecology, and engineering geology.

The Chairman of the Cabinet noted the importance of scientific research in geology for the sustainable socio-economic development of the state and emphasized the need to support both fundamental and applied scientific projects.

He also urged ministries to actively interact with specialized scientific institutions to implement modern technologies and enhance the effectiveness of addressing current issues in relevant fields.


Important issues regarding research, training of scientific personnel, material and technical support, and the future development of the institute were also discussed.


As a result of the visit, instructions were given to the relevant state bodies.
