Participants discussed reports on the state and prospects of the scientific sector, as well as the challenges it faces. Special attention was paid to the need for improving the legal regulation of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and the issues of increasing state support for geological research.
The Council was recommended to develop systemic measures to enhance the effectiveness of scientific activities, including the creation of state order mechanisms, a phased increase in the budget, effective resource allocation, as well as the modernization of geological research and strengthening the staffing and material-technical support of scientific institutions.
