Interior Minister Ulan Niyazbekov noted that thanks to the use of digital technologies and video surveillance systems, it was possible to prevent about 6,000 crimes and offenses over the year, as well as to detain around a thousand wanted individuals.
During the meeting, the minister emphasized the need to strengthen preventive measures aimed at preventing offenses, including domestic violence. He also highlighted the importance of ensuring road safety and controlling driving under the influence of alcohol during the holiday season.
According to Niyazbekov, the main task of the internal affairs agencies is to create conditions for a peaceful and safe celebration of the New Year.
