According to the GUBDD, an analysis of traffic accidents shows that the main causes of accidents in the republic include speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, crossing into oncoming traffic, and violations of overtaking rules.
In light of the above, the agency's leadership has set the task of organizing a preventive event that will last for one month and aim to reduce the number of accidents. Within the framework of this event, emphasis will be placed on fostering a driving culture and improving interaction between drivers, as well as promoting respectful behavior on the road.
Additionally, it was instructed to strengthen the process of receiving and mandatory responding to citizens' appeals sent via WhatsApp at the number 0777 102 102. There are also plans to conduct explanatory and preventive activities in educational institutions, organizations, and places with large gatherings of people.
Particular attention was paid to the fact that employees of road traffic safety divisions must strictly adhere to service ethics, demonstrating politeness, respect, and correctness in communication with road users.
