The GUBDD KR presented the main factors contributing to road traffic accidents in the country.
This data was announced on December 17 during an online meeting led by the head of the Main Department for Ensuring Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, A. Kozukeev, along with the heads of various departments of the GUBDD.
The main objective of the meeting was to discuss measures to prevent accidents and improve road behavior culture.
The analysis of road traffic accidents showed that the main causes of accidents in the republic are:
- exceeding the speed limit;
- driving under the influence of alcohol;
- crossing into oncoming traffic;
- violating overtaking rules.
- to conduct a preventive campaign titled "Observing Traffic Rules is a Guarantee of Human Life!" within the next month, focusing on preventing traffic accidents, improving driving culture, and fostering respect among drivers;
- to ensure effective reception of citizens' appeals via WhatsApp at the number 0777 102 102 with mandatory responses to each message;
- to conduct educational activities in educational institutions and places of mass gathering of citizens.
