In the Naryn region, in the village of Bayetov, a foot march called "Know the Traffic Rules!" took place, reports Turmush correspondent.

As noted by Asykbek Shakulov, head of the district department for road safety, this event was organized with the support of the internal affairs department, the district administration, and the education department. The main goal of the march is to reduce the number of traffic accidents and to urge both drivers and pedestrians to strictly adhere to traffic rules.

During the march, drivers were given the following recommendations:

— avoid driving under the influence of alcohol;

— do not exceed the speed limit;

— timely change summer tires to winter ones;

— use low beam headlights in populated areas;

— do not allow minors to drive a vehicle.

Students from the Esengul Karasartov and Shükürbek Beishenaliev schools also actively participated in the event, holding posters calling for adherence to traffic rules.

According to the traffic police inspectors, most traffic accidents currently are related to speeding, driving under the influence, and not maintaining distance, especially on gravel and dusty roads, which leads to emergency situations.
