In Bishkek, there are plans to increase control over drivers who are under the influence of alcohol, as well as those participating in car rallies. This was reported by the press service of the State Traffic Safety Department (GUOBDD).
Recently, the head of this department, Azenbek Kozukeev, conducted a briefing for the employees of the City Public Safety Management (UPSM) and conveyed important instructions and orders from the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the maintenance of public order and safety on the roads.
He emphasized the need to more strictly monitor those drivers who create problems for the city's residents by organizing car rallies, exceeding speed limits, and provoking traffic accidents, especially at night.
Kozukeev also called for stricter penalties for drivers operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol.
Additionally, he noted the positive results of the employees' work and emphasized the necessity of enhancing preventive measures and raids aimed at preventing traffic accidents.
