More than 12,000 police officers will ensure law and order on New Year's Eve

In anticipation of the New Year holidays, starting from December 29, the employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic began to perform their duties in an enhanced mode.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 12,000 police officers will be involved to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain order on New Year's Eve.

To check the readiness of personnel for service, the first deputies and deputies of the Minister of Internal Affairs conducted drill inspections and garrison roll calls in all regions of the country. The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also visited regions to assess the organization of service and readiness to accomplish assigned tasks.

Heads of the main departments and divisions of the Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were assigned to regional units for control, coordination of actions, and operational response during holiday events.

The internal affairs bodies are taking all necessary measures to ensure a calm and safe celebration of the New Year holidays. Enhanced police patrols will be on duty in places of mass gatherings, on the streets, and in public places, so that every resident and guest of the country can welcome the New Year in an atmosphere of order and safety.
