In the run-up to the New Year holidays, the mayor of Kara-Kul, Nurtilek Orozbaev, announced at a scheduled meeting that New Year corporate parties for employees of state and municipal institutions, as well as organizations with state participation, will be prohibited.

He emphasized that in the event of violations, the responsibility will fall on the heads of the respective institutions. From December 25, raids will begin in cafes and restaurants across the city to monitor compliance with these measures.

Additionally, the mayor urged leaders to refrain from exchanging New Year gifts and open letters. Instead, he recommended using funds that could have been allocated for corporate events to help children without parental care, widows, and low-income families to create a festive atmosphere for them.

Special attention was given to the ban on collecting funds from students or their parents for purchasing gifts for teachers in the lead-up to the holidays.

In order to protect the environment and ensure the safety of citizens, Orozbaev also called on residents of the city to refrain from using fireworks and pyrotechnic products during the New Year holidays. He noted that maintaining air quality and creating a safe atmosphere is the responsibility of every citizen, and he appealed to residents with this initiative.
