The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration has approved the holiday calendar for 2026, which includes numerous state, non-working, and pre-holiday days for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
Among the state holidays celebrated in 2026:
- January 1 — New Year;
- February 23 — Defender of the Fatherland Day;
- March 8 — International Women's Day;
- March 21 — People's Holiday Nowruz;
- April 7 — Day of the People's April Revolution;
- May 1 — Labor Day;
- May 5 — Constitution Day of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- May 9 — Victory Day;
- August 31 — Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- November 7 and 8 — Days of History and Remembrance of Ancestors.
- January 1–6 — New Year holidays;
- March 8 — International Women's Day;
- March 21 — Nowruz;
- May 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 — May holidays;
- May 5 — Constitution Day;
- May 9 — Victory Day;
- August 31 — Independence Day.
Shortened working days in 2026 are planned for: March 20, April 30, and December 31.
Additionally, on pre-holiday days, the working hours are reduced: February 23 and April 7.
