From January 1 to December 31, 2026, a testing of a new temporary order for regulating the activities of state medical institutions will be conducted in Kyrgyzstan. This step became possible due to Presidential Decree No. 331, signed on November 28, 2025.
The main goal of introducing this regime is to improve the efficiency of medical institutions, their development, and competitiveness, as well as to create conditions for enhancing the quality of medical care.
In accordance with this decree, the Cabinet of Ministers is tasked with:
- compiling a list of state healthcare organizations at all levels to which the new regulatory order will apply;
- approving temporary rules for regulating their operations within the budget allocated for healthcare in 2026.
