Starting in 2026, a new information system called "Digital Medical Record of the Patient" will be launched in stationary medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan. This project was approved by the Minister of Health, Erkin Checheybaev.

The innovative system will be linked to the database of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund called "Treated Case." Medical institutions will be required to fully transition to working with this system, which includes the formation of medical histories, issuance of temporary disability certificates, and referrals for patients.

Training for medical personnel to work with the new system is also planned. The technical maintenance of the system will be carried out by the JSC "Tündük," which guarantees its reliable operation and security.

The system is expected to start functioning in test mode by December 5, 2025, with the complete transition scheduled for the end of the same year.

The Ministry of Health emphasizes that the heads of medical organizations will bear personal responsibility for the successful implementation of the system and the timely entry of data.
