Kochorov was born on April 16, 1957, in the village of Ak-Tash, located in the Karasuu district of the Osh region.
In 1976, he graduated from the Jalal-Abad Medical School.
After that, from 1976 to 1978, he served in the Soviet Army.
From 1978 to 1979, he worked as a paramedic in the emergency department of the Karasuu Central District Hospital.
In 1985, he completed his studies at the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.
From 1985 to 1987, he studied in the clinical residency at the Department of General Surgery of KSMI.
From 1987 to 1998, he held the position of surgeon in the purulent surgery department of the Republican Clinical Hospital in Bishkek.
From 1998 to 2009, he headed the purulent surgery department of the National Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, located in Bishkek.
From 2009 to 2017, he worked as the deputy chief physician for surgical issues at the National Hospital.
From 2017 until his passing, he held the position of professor at the Department of General and Faculty Surgery of KRSU.
He was a top-category surgeon, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and professor, as well as an honorary health worker of the Kyrgyz Republic and a recipient of the State Prize.
