Alisherov Avtandil Shermanovich
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Health Worker of the USSR, Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Born in 1955. In 1979, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.
Currently, he serves as the General Director of the National Center for Phthisiatry under the Ministry of Health and as a Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
A leading specialist in the field of phthisiatry. His research focuses on the study, bacteriological diagnosis, and treatment methods for tuberculosis, issues of drug resistance of the tuberculosis pathogen, and the epidemiological situation regarding tuberculosis in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Member of the Working Group of the World Health Organization.
Awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He has published over 200 scientific works, including 8 monographs and more than 20 methodological recommendations, and is the author of 7 inventions.
