Maripov Arapbay

Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Full Member of the New York Academy of Sciences, Member of the International Society for Optical Engineering SPIE, Member of the SPIE Holography Working Group.

Born in 1939. Graduated from Moscow State University in 1964.

Worked as a junior researcher at the Physics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, head of the Physics Department at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute, head of the Physics and Chemistry Department at the Osh Higher Technological College, head of the scientific-expert department for physical-mathematical and technical sciences at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Head of the Applied Physics Department at the Kyrgyz Technical University.

Specialist in the fields of radiophysics, optics, and holography.

Winner of the first Republican competition "For the Best Works in the Field of Inventive Activity." Honored Worker of Higher Education of the USSR, awarded the medal "For Special Merits to KTU," awarded the title "Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic" (2006).

Published over 100 scientific works, including 1 monograph, 2 textbooks, and is the author of 8 inventions.
