Dzhumabekov Sabyrbek Artisbekovich

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born in 1964. In 1987, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute.

Currently, he works as the Director of the Research Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics. Chief Orthopedic Traumatologist of the Kyrgyz Republic; Head of the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics, and Extreme Surgery at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy.

Specialist in spinal microsurgery and limb lengthening.

Awarded the Jubilee Medal for the 1000th Anniversary of Manas, Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic, laureate of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic award in the category of “Science and New Technologies,” laureate of the “Aykol-Manas” competition in the category of “Best Surgeon of the Year” (European project), named “Person of the Year” in the category of “Best Doctor of the Year” by the international magazine “Zamandash,” elected as a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, laureate of the international Mustafa Kemal Atatürk award, Golden Medal “Surgeon with Golden Hands” in the field of science and technology, the International Institute of Planetarism named one of the stars “Sabyrbek Dzhumabekov” (USA, Illinois), St. Louis University awarded him the title of Honorary Professor of the University and issued a diploma of “Visiting Professor” with an invitation to work in the USA.

Author of more than 205 scientific works. Holds 30 inventions and 25 rationalization proposals. Trained 12 candidates of medical sciences and is in the process of completing 3 doctoral and 12 candidate dissertations. Author of 2 monographs: “Lengthening of the Femur with an Intramedullary Distractor” - 2003, “Microsurgical Discectomy and Treatment of Secondary Scar-Adhesive Processes in the Epidural Space for Lumbar-Sacral Herniations” - 2004.
